About the job
The Digital team is a business function that drives operational excellence in support of the overall business plan to mould IKEA SEAMX into a more efficient organisation. We are looking for an aspiring candidate who can deliver projects to IKEA and share our vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people”. The Project Specialist is responsible in supporting the Project Manager to deliver the desired results and ensure satisfied customers and stakeholders.
Apply project principles and governance to support the projects.
To support the project manager in the rollout of ERP system migration and upgrade projects.
Support projects based on clear roles and responsibilities with a focus on business and people within a matrix relationship.
You will be assigned to the MVBC upgrade migration project, where you are primarily responsible to:
Represent the Digital team and support the Project Manager to deliver the defined results on time and according to the project directive and project plan.
Aligning business requirements into the project scope across functions and countries.
Organise and conduct testings, provide testing and bug fix progress.
To plan and schedule internal and external meetings, as well as to keep track of meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
Ensure effective communication both within the organisation and with third-party vendors.
Secure quality of the solutions delivered by the projects.
Contribute to the overall development of the digital solutions for IKEA SEAMX, ensuring that it reflects the IKEA brand and quality standards, and through this contribute to an optimal digital consumer journey.
Understand the fundamentals of ERP solution functionalities and their application to business operations.
Ability to translate a tactical plan into operational results. Driven to make things happen with flexibility, speed and simplicity.
