ABOUT US The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer-friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and supply of raw materials, components and fittings. IKEA Components is part of the Inter IKEA group and shares the IKEA vision and values. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. Through co-operation with IKEA Purchasing and Logistic areas, we are also represented at several other sites around the world.
Identify and propose process/sub processes design- and direction of improvement initiatives and prepare basis for decision
The assignment includes to lead for continuous improvements as well a long term directions
Gather, understand and analyse business benefit of identified process improvement potentials, by using different methodologies
Secure implementation and establishment of the process including identifying competence development needs.
Lead, support or facilitate the implementation of way of working with process oriented business development in IKEA Components P&D. Lead trainings and secure that learning solutions are rolled out in agreement with global process development
Lead, manage and/or support business & process improvement projects (incl. IT tools). Interact with related functions and matrixes in the development of the solution.
Secure consistency and interdependencies in the process development toward other connected processes.
Contribute to improve, develop & keep process documentation up to date according to defined framework, (process maps, working methods, task descriptions, and measurement specifications and learning material).
Secure follow up of process performance and as well as maturity and compliance to set KPI's and methods
Contribute in the creation of competence profiles, capabilities and development needs in core roles of the process.
Participate in external networks for benchmarking and enhance knowledge in appointed processes
Strong ability to enable change, motivate, indirectly lead and inspire people.
Strong ability to handle complexity and solve problems with several dimensions and make it understandable for the many.
