Job description
  • Review the organization structure in both service office and stores periodically to understand the required changes in compensation and benefits that support business strategy
  • Design the Pay Strategy that defines the desired position of IKEA on the job market in terms of the basic salary, the base pay and the total cash and according to NRGC directions
  • Design the grading structure, salary scale, and compensation & benefits scheme according to pay strategy
  • Manage salary benchmark surveys with external HR consulting firms such as Hay Group, Towers Watson, Mercer etc. to ensure external competitiveness
  • Conduct job evaluation for all jobs using Hay methodology
  • Ensure internal equity by placing all coworkers within salary scale and according to their qualifications and their achievements
  • Design flexible compensation and benefits scheme to ensure investing in the right pool to increase engagement while also finding smart ways to maintain/reduce overall staff costs
  • Design merit increase policies, bonus calculations formulas and promotion standards and ensure alignment and consistency across all stores/OCPs
  • Manage different benefits provided by the Company and ensure they are provided to the eligible co-workers.
  • Develop a facilitate communication of a total rewards package including external partnership to boost acquisition and retention
  • Provide support in performance appraisal results calibration
  • Manage the calculations for annual bonus, monthly incentives, commission schemes and annual merit increase.
  • Provide required data analysis related to staff cost as per Management Team & NRGC requests.

Qualification

Education

  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent certificate

Experience

  • 4-5 years of experience in conducting job evaluation, design grading structure & salary scale
