•Strong experience within logistics area, and skilled in warehouse processes, tools and working methods. •Ability to work together as a team and to engage your coworkers by creating a passion for your plans and the objectives to achieve. •An effective and strategic communication and change management skills, along with a very good relational incisiveness to build trust and communicate in a clear and targeted way with different people in various situations. •Ability to work through others, set priorities, delegate responsibility and give open and honest feedback. •A broader overview of all store operational processes and a flexible mindset being able to gather interconnections between commercial and operational areas. •A good analytical and problem-solving mindset. •Ability to communicate in English and Italian.
What you'll be doing day to day
•Lead the Outbound team and work with the Country Logistics team, as store business partner, to enable customer order fulfilment, and the highest goods and services available for our customers at all times in all the touchpoints at the lowest possible cost. •Secure safe, qualitative and on-time picking, packing, return flow tasks, in order to guarantee customers shopping experience through the quality of products and service together, and stock accuracy together with sales location management processes in the warehouse, as prerequisites for a successful service offer. •In synergy with the Inbound Leader and the Sales & Supply Support Leader, secure the correct usage of short-term logistics capacity for outbound in the unit according to service forecasting. This includes space, service agreement with the Transport Service Provider and people as a part of the total home-to-home customer experience. •Actively contribute to developing the mid-long term scenarios for capacity. Actively contribute to the Unit operational action plan; monitor the Outbound team’s performance in order to take relevant actions to achieve the goals for growth, budget and performance. •Analyse the outbound flow and give continuous feedback to the service partner to become more and more effective guaranteeing the best quality in service execution in collaboration with internal & external partners. •In synergy with Safety & Security team, ensure that the Outbound team works in compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety and security and the environment.
