• A broad and deep knowledge in the following areas:
o Marketing creative and production process,
o Omnichannel content creation and online customer behaviours,
o Marketing technology and marketing communication in retail.
• The ability to find new ways through co-creation with colleagues and other IKEA units.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships with stakeholders of different seniority levels while communicating in an inspirational way.
• The flexibility to manage different tasks trying to approach them with different points of view.
• Ability to evaluate great communication as well as to plan and execute communications campaigns through multiple channels.
• Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English and Italian.
• Availability to travel based on operational needs.


• Cooperate with the team of Home Furnishing & Retail Design to define the yearly event strategy (in terms of numbers, importance/effort, identification of crucial opportunities to strengthen the IKEA brand and positioning – i.e. Design Week).
• Act as a member of the Marketing team with a specific assignment on physical and/or digital events set and forecasted in the marketing yearly plan.
• Define and support the evolution of the edutainment social hub with a specific focus on editorial strategy, planning, content production and digital events, according to the new global direction of live at home, in addition to the current life at home.
• Set goals and measure performance to optimize and improve specific marketing KPIs (i.e. engagement rate on social media).
• Set and manage budget frame for marketing activities (i.e. external communication contents).
• Develop the creative concept and the following brief for the location scouting managed by HF&RD.
• Lead and support the content production company (from scouting to delivery) for marketing omnichannel content.
• Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders involved in the events within commercial and beyond to secure integration, common focus and maximize impact.
